Apply to Exhibit in The Spring Art Show 2024
To apply for a space please email 3 images of your work to briankorteling@gmail.com. Images should be no larger than 1mb and should be closely cropped to only show the artwork. These images may be used for promotional purposes or used on our website if your application is accepted.
Applications close at midnight on 28th February 2026. You will be informed whether your application has been successful by this date. Unsuccessful applicants should not feel that this is a judgement on their work, we aim to show a diverse range of styles and artistic approaches and artists are accepted with this in mind. Applications are open to all artists living in the East of England.
There is a choice of 4 different size exhibition spaces available 1mx2m, 2mx2m, 3m x 2m or 4mx2m. Spaces are made up of free standing exhibition panels each of which being 1m wide and 2m high. Each panel comes with 2 wires and hooks are supplied depending on requirements at set-up. Nails, glues or tapes are NOT permitted under any circumstance but self adhesive velcro will be available for use on light smaller pieces, we find this works very well. There are also a few allocated floor spaces that can be hired for sculptural work, artists would need to provide their own plinths or tables. If you have any questions please do get in touch.
Please note there is a 15% commission charged on all sales made during the event.
What can you exhibit
You can exhibit any form of 2D or 3D artwork that has been created by yourself. Work must be professionally presented and available for sale. Labels must be provided by the artist and should be printed using a good clear font with the title, medium and price shown. No insulting or offensive work can be displayed, this is a public space open to people of all ages so please bear that in mind when applying. Nudes do tend to be fine as long as the images are not explicitly pornographic in nature.
Artwork must fit within your specified exhibition space without infringing on other artists spaces. Prints and reproductions of your own artwork are permitted as are cards etc that can be sold from the main desk. Cards to be sold from the desk should be displayed in a card rack no larger than 60cm wide and x 50cm high, prints should either be displayed in a browser or other suitable display method. Loose cards or prints will not be displayed!
The organiser reserves the right to remove artwork that is deemed offensive or is not presented to a high enough standard.
